The Heart of EGM

Every Generation Ministries (EGM) is a global Christian ministry that equips local churches to disciple children intentionally and effectively. We train and support children’s ministry leaders so children don’t just hear about Jesus, but grow to follow Him in everyday life.

Many children grow up in church but are never intentionally discipled in Christ. Churches often care deeply about kids but lack a clear, biblical framework and practical training to help leaders move beyond activities toward lasting spiritual transformation.

EGM does not replace the local church or run children’s programs on its behalf. Instead, we come alongside churches to equip their leaders with a clear discipleship approach that is biblical, relational, and sustainable.

Rather than focusing on content alone, EGM helps leaders stay anchored to clear spiritual outcomes. Internally, we refer to this clarity as a Transformational Goal: a defined picture of the faith, character, and obedience we want to see formed in a child’s life.

A DiscipleMaker is not a title or position: it’s an identity. DiscipleMakers are leaders who understand that their role goes beyond managing a classroom or running activities. They intentionally guide children toward knowing Jesus, trusting Him, and practicing their faith daily.

EGM exists to help churches form more DiscipleMakers who disciple children with clarity, confidence, and care.

EGM equips leaders through the DiscipleMakers Method, a simple, biblical approach rooted in Deuteronomy 6:4-9 and designed to foster real-life transformation in children.

At the core of this approach are two foundational components that shape everything else: Relationship and a clear Transformational Goal. These foundations are present throughout the entire ministry time and hold the discipleship process together.

Built on these foundations are integrated Lesson Strategies that guide what happens during each lesson:

1. Experience – engaging the whole child to prepare hearts and minds for God’s truth
2. Truth – teaching God’s Word clearly, creatively, and age-appropriately
3. Discussion – helping children connect biblical truth to their everyday lives
4. Response – inviting children to take practical steps to live out what they’ve learned

Together, the Transformational Goal, Relational approach and these strategies move ministry beyond information transfer toward intentional discipleship: helping children grow as followers of Jesus through connected, ongoing formation rather than one-off lessons.

Instead, we provide a discipleship framework that churches apply through practical strategies that fit their size, culture, and local ministry context. These strategies may include curriculum, activities, training environments, or coaching, but the framework keeps the focus on discipleship, not just delivery.
