Nisha (name changed) was a student in the senior class, coming from a separated family. Her parents divorced before she was born, and she shared that she had never seen her father before his death when she was nine-years-old. Quiet and introverted, Nisha carried deep pain and unspoken resentment in her heart, especially toward her parents. During the final day of Vacation Bible School led by leaders trained through EGM India, the devotion focused on the practice of repentance. As Nisha listened, God began to work deeply in her heart. She realized she was burdened with hatred and unforgiveness, and she needed healing. That day, she repented before God, forgave her parents, and received forgiveness and love from her Heavenly Father. She shared that for the first time, she felt peace, relief, and comfort in her heart. After returning home from VBS, Nisha hugged her mother, told her, “I love you, Mumma,” and asked for her forgiveness. Today, Nisha’s life reflects true transformation in Christ, as God restores her heart and relationships through His grace.
