My name is Joshua, and I serve in children’s ministry in Kenya. I met Aisha at a time when she had stopped coming to church because she felt isolated and disconnected. Instead of correcting her, I wanted to understand her heart. After attending training with EGM-Kenya, my perspective changed. I learned how to create welcoming, engaging spaces where children feel they belong, not just taught. Slowly, Aisha began to change. She started arriving early, asking questions, and participating with joy. Seeing her excitement drew her parents back to church, and soon their whole family began praying together. This experience showed me that when we minister with love, patience, and understanding, God can transform not just a child but an entire family.
